You can configure to open certain file extensions in binary. For example, you want to open all .EXE files in binary.

1. TOOLS -> CUSTOMIZE -> GENERAL(left side) -> FILENAME EXTENSIONS(right side).

2. In the "Filename Extension Setup" dialog, select your extension and click ‘Edit’. If your extension is not listed, then add a new extension by clicking ‘Insert’ and add your new extension.

3. In the "Edit Filename Extension Setup" dialog, (which you get by clicking ‘Edit’ in step 2), half way down in the middle is "File type". Click down arrow next to field and select "Binary". Set "Record Length" to 16. (This will display 16 bytes per line. You can change this if you like.) Click "OK".
