Please change the way ME 2006 treats the empty lines at the end of a file.
By default please do not remove empty lines (CR/LF) at the end of the file if the global ‘CR/LF at EOF’ is not set in the Editing settings.
Make it configurable per file type to:
    – Leave file as it is.
    – Force (at least one) CR/LF at EOF. Only add one if there was none
    – Remove empty lines at EOF.

    Thansk,

I’d like to add to this request a note: I originally thought the "CR/LF at EOF" checkbox would add a CR/LF at the end of the file if none was present. But experiment shows it does not add if not present, it only removes existing CR/LF if the box is not checked.

Perhaps that could be changed to add if not present if box is checked.
