    I am trying to select a block of text, create a new file and paste that block into the new file and save it. Here is what I have so far
    =======================================
    VOID Block_1()
    {
    Ignore_Case= True;
    tof;
    Block_Begin;
    Find_Text("{<voter}",0,_OLdExp);
    Block_End;
    Delete_Block;
    S_Create_File(‘test_Save.txt’,”); <—————— Problem with this syntax
    }
    =========================================

    I cannot get this last line figured out. I am pretty sure I can paste the block into this file and save it but
    this S_File_Create is giving me fits. It throw up an error about needing a variable but I am not
    sure what that means…and there are no good examples of doing it this way. Is this even going to be possible like this??

    Thanks

    S_Create_File( Name, Han ) integer function
    Creates a new file with the filename Name, and sets the local integer variable Han to its file handle. If the file exists, it will be truncated to zero length. Returns 0 if no error, otherwise, the Dos error code.

    You are not specifying Han correctly.
    It appears that for Han, you only have one "

    I do not use this function in any of my scripts, I use RM("LDFILES /LC=1/FN="+NewFileStr);

    Hi,
    LDfiles is the preferred way to create new files or load existing ones.

    Thanks,
    Clay
