    Every now and then I forget to save my file, with all problems coming with that :oops:

    Is there a way to mark the tabs of unsaved files?

    Hi,
    If you are using ME2006 or better, the tabs of unsaved files have a "pencil" mark until they are saved. You can also go to Tools-Customize-Files-Autosave and alter your settings so that your files are saved on a regular basis.

    Hi Clay,

    Thanks for the reply. I had icons unchecked in tab options, since they all looked the same to me, and meant no extra info.

    Now I do see the pencil. But it’s rather unobtrusive. Is it possible to, for instance, color the tab text as well?

    I don’t like the autosave.

    PS. Is there any news on a new version of ME?
    It seems ME isn’t always displaying everything right in Windows7.

    Yes is is fairly hard to notice. We have had suggestions about tab colors (by file type). I’ll add your suggestion to the wish list.
