    Hi,
is there a way to create my own WordList file (.mwl)?

We use our own 4GL language and the reserved words in the language setup are not enough. Also in the color setup, the 4 entries of reserved words (syntax highlighting) are not really enough.

It would helpful, if both are extended to 8 entries.
Or better w/o any limit. :D

Thank you. I have overlooked that part of the posting.

Is it necessary to add the special key (0x0C) in front of WordList?

Yes include the 0x0C character. Have a look at all the *.mwl files in [code:3v42h3d8]C:\Program Files\Multi-Edit 2006\Defaults[/code:3v42h3d8] for examples. (Note: some of those files have the words sorted by length. This isn’t necessary.)
